COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – Temperatures will stay on the cooler side for now, but a gradual warm-up is on the way! After some recent rain, we will catch a brief break with drier conditions returning tomorrow and into the start of the weekend. This is thanks to a trough moving through, bringing in some breezy winds that will help clear out moisture temporarily. However, by Sunday, a ridge begins to build in with more mid-level flow, helping to pull moisture back into the region – so rain chances will start to rise again by the end of the weekend. Highs will stay in the upper 80s through Tuesday before we finally climb back into the low 90s next week…
