Columbus officials arrest one man on multiple drug and firearm charges after investigation

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) – The Columbus Police Department have arrested a man on multiple drug and firearm-related charges after a months-long joint investigation.

CPD’s Special Operations Unit and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives have been teaming up on this investigation which resulted in the arrest of 34-year-old Joshua Alexander.

Alexander was arrested after investigators executed a search warrant on Thursday and seized 3,428.2 grams of methamphetamine, 23.3 grams of cocaine, $2,4500 in U.S. currency, and a 9mm firearm…
