PHENIX CITY, Ala. (WTVM) – Many parents are left wondering what happens next for their students who were supposed to be enrolled in Phenix City School’s Accelerated Academy. As of the beginning of the school year, Phenix City Schools terminated the program.
“We’re left with a lot of questions and he’s pretty disappointed,” said parent April Sawyer.
Just before the beginning of the school year, Phenix City Schools parents were notified of the termination of Phenix City’s Accelerated Academy, a program for 6th through 8th grade students to move through course work at an accelerated pace.
