COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – Hot and mostly dry conditions continue for the next few days, with highs climbing into the mid-90s and only a slim chance of an isolated shower early in the week. Expect plenty of sunshine and typical August heat through Wednesday before a front approaches late week. That front will increase our chances for scattered showers and storms Friday and into the weekend, and it may even knock our temperatures down a notch.
