Rain coverage continues to go up a little each day

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – While some rain and storms will be around the next couple days, the best coverage of scattered showers and storms is expected to come Friday and Saturday as the first of two cold fronts moves through the region. The first will wash out just to our south and will help keep Hurricane Erin off the east coast. The second may actually change the way the air feels early next week.

Partly cloudy on this Wednesday with a chance of hit-or-miss rain and storms during the afternoon and evening. Rain coverage around 30 to 40%. Highs in the low 90s but it will feel like the mid and upper 90s during the hottest part…..
