A Columbus teen has died following a shooting. Authorities say the death is under investigation.
Authorities responded to the 1700 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, where Virginia Arms apartments are located, following reports of a shooting around 3:20 P.M. on Friday, August 29, 2025.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, but was pronounced deceased shortly thereafter. Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan identified the deceased victim as 17-year-old Victor Hinton.
