Cobb’s Own Mike Boyce Honored in Veterans Hall of Fame

The late Mike Boyce, former chairman of the Cobb County Board of Commissioners, has been posthumously inducted into the 2025 Georgia Military Veterans Hall of Fame.

A Marine Corps colonel with over 30 years of service, Boyce continued his dedication to veterans after retiring, supporting organizations like the American Legion, VFW, and the Marine Corps League. As Cobb chairman, he regularly helped disabled veterans access care at the Atlanta VA Center, making a lasting impact on the local community.

“Some of the most deserving recipients of Mike’s generosity occurred during visits with veterans to the Atlanta VA Center,” the Georgia Military Veterans Hall of Fame said.
