COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) – Pope Leo XIV made history in the Catholic Church as the first American born pontiff. This past weekend he helped write more history for the church as he canonized Carlo Acutis as the first Millennial Saint.
Acutis was born in 1991, and he thrived in computer science in his life. He eventually launched a website that documented miracles. It eventually went viral, and he was nicknamed “God’s Influencer.” Acutis passed away in 2006 from acute Leukemia. He was just 15 years old.
