PHENIX CITY, Ala. (WRBL) — Phenix City Elementary School’s main hallway flooded Monday during morning drop- off.
A school district maintenance worker says a toilet began running overnight causing it to overflow this morning. This led to “minor flooding in the main hallways of PCES”, according to the school district.
In the morning drop-off line, a trail of water could be seen coming from the school as maintenance worked to resolve the leak.
Students were rerouted to class where instruction continued without issue…
