Rain deficits keep climbing for Columbus, Ga

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)- We will be off to a clear start again tomorrow, but a short wave will bring more clouds tomorrow afternoon. A few spotty showers are possible, however, it will not be significant.

Weekend: This dry pattern will continue for the weekend. So far, we are at a deficit of over 1.50 inches this month and over 3.5 inches below average this year. Temperatures will sit in the mid 90s this weekend.

Next week: We are tracking a small chance for showers at the beginning of the week. However, this will likely be enough to help with the dry soils. The increase in rain chances will move in right in time for the first day of Fall on Monday!…
