Columbus police respond to shooter outside Amazon warehouse; police say gunman took his own life

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Shots were fired early Monday morning at an Amazon warehouse in East Columbus, which has resulted in the alleged shooter taking his own life, police say.

Around 4:30 a.m., a 9-1-1 active shooter call came into the Columbus center. The shooter was outside the warehouse, shooting at the building.

Columbus Police responded to the 5800 block of Osceola Court at approximately 4:47 a.m. and found the man they suspected to be the gunman still outside the building.
