AUBURN, Ala. (WRBL) – A Columbus man was killed Friday night in a motorcycle crash along Interstate 85 in Auburn. The crash happened around 9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 26, in the southbound lanes near mile marker 53.
Lee County Coroner Daniel Sexton identified the motorcycle operator who died as 25-year-old Matthew Navas of Columbus, Georgia. Investigators say Nabas was riding a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle when he hit the back of a vehicle. Navas died at the scene.
