Bad news for the region: no meaningful rainfall is in sight with temperatures remaining above average.
We’ll end this weekend with a chance of some showers, although they’ll remain scattered and light with 1/10″ or less expected. Winds will remain very gusty up to 25-30MPH on and off throughout the day as we remain in a very east wind dominate pattern.
The winds will continue into Monday and eventually calm down a bit by Tuesday and especially Wednesday. Unfortunately, we’ll remain very dry with just very isolated sprinkles or a quick shower possible Monday (less than 10% chance). Sunshine is expected to return with just a few clouds on Tuesday and Wednesday. We’ll also see high temperatures begin to climb into well above average territory. Some spots could get as high as 90º by Wednesday, as much as 10º above average. The record high in Columbus for Wednesday is 91º set in 2016, and we may challenge that…
