Dorothy Height Elementary School opens store to reward students with perfect attendance

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — A South Columbus elementary school is taking a new approach to motivate students to show up for class.

Dorothy Height Elementary School on Benning Drive has opened the PAW — Perfect Attendance Award — store, where students with perfect attendance can shop for items ranging from cleaning supplies to diapers.
