This weekend is jam packed with options for family fun. Starting tonight, there are two entertainment options for country music fans or those who love a little rhythm and soul.
The 25th Anniversary of Denim & Diamonds features a night of live country music, community, and purpose. The event held tonight at the Columbus Civic Center starting at 8:00 PM spotlights Clint Black on his Back on the Blacktop Tour, with special guest The Woods. All proceeds benefit Columbus Hospice and the families they serve across our region.
If you prefer a little soul and horn section, check out the River City Horns concert tonight at Midland Commons. The show starts at 6:30 pm and features band members who’ve been together since high school as the Soul Proprietors. If you like Chicago and Tower of Power, you will love their show.
If you need a place to take the kids for some trunk and treats, bounce houses, and games, check out the Hardaway High School Hawks PTO Fall Festival from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm tonight at 2901 College Drive.
Need more fun in your weekend? Uptown Columbus has it. Saturday, October 25 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm Broadway will be shut down for Spooktacular. The event features FREE trick-or-treating — that’s right, Uptown businesses will be handing out candy along Broadway! Bring your little ghosts, goblins, and superheroes for an unforgettable afternoon of sweets, smiles, and Halloween fun!
Don’t forget to stop by the Uptown Check-In Table in the 1000 Block Median near the Fountain to grab your event map, list of participating businesses, and a free trick-or-treat bag — while supplies last!
Then on Sunday afternoon, October 26, Highside Market located at 211 13th Street is hosting a Trick-or-Treat event from Noon until 4:00 pm. The event features live music, bounce houses, glow-in-the-dark slime, face painting, and trick-or-treating with local merchants all alongside the Farmers Market…
