One more dry day; Scattered storms enter Sunday across Columbus, Ga

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)- Today is our last day of dry weather across the south. We have temperatures in the 70s again today and a slight breeze. The clouds will continue to build, leaving us with a cloudy start for Sunday.

Sunday: We are tracking a low pressure system moving through the south. This same system will bring scattered storms Sunday evening. Severe weather is not expected.

Work Week: These waves of storms will linger until early Monday afternoon. We will then focus on a cold front entering by midweek. This will bring our next wave of showers and storms on Wednesday. Conditions will clear just in time for trick or treating on Halloween!

Our temperatures will be well below average next week. Highs will drop into the 60s on Monday and they will stay there all week. Some will see 40s by Thursday morning.

Next Weekend: Get ready for chilly mornings next weekend. Some areas could see upper 30s for the first time this season…
