MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Columbus State University Men’s and Women’s Cross-Country teams competed at the 2025 Peach Belt Conference Championship on Saturday, hosted by Georgia College & State University. The Cougars raced to a strong fifth-place team finish, while the Lady Cougars earned seventh in a competitive field.
On the men’s side, Blake Lewis led the charge for CSU with a 21st-place finish in 26:52.0. Mark Ravenscraft followed closely in 27th at 27:20.1, while James Harrelson placed 36th in 28:57.5. Owen Hartshorn added valuable points in 39th with a time of 29:17.4. Rounding out the scoring lineup, Matthew Terwilliger finished 51st in 30:33.0, just ahead of Tucker Hancock, who placed 52nd in 31:00.3. Their efforts secured a top-five team finish and showcased the depth across the Cougar roster.
For the women, Noah Griffeth paced the Lady Cougars with a 32nd-place finish in 20:53.6. Layla Albright was next across the line in 35th at 21:07.4, followed by Emmalee Johnson in 37th with a time of 21:10.3. Anna Norton placed 42nd in 21:24.2, while Elizabeth Harris secured the fifth scoring spot with a 51st-place finish in 22:16.7. Reese Moss also turned in a solid effort, clocking 22:18.0 for 53rd.
