COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — After USDA announced there will be no federal food aid issued on Nov. 1, millions of Americans are expected to feel the strain, but one Columbus church is stepping up to help.
For more than 20 years, Saint James AME Church has supported families in need by offering fresh produce.
On Wednesday, the church partnered with Feeding the Valley to distribute food to a growing number of local households impacted by the pause in federal assistance.
