COLUMBUS, Ga. – In a much-anticipated rematch between Buford and East Coweta, it was all Wolves en route to a 10-0 win to reach the Class 6A state title game at South Commons Softball Complex on Friday.
East Coweta knocked off the Wolves in the Class 6A state title game last season, but it was much different on Friday as the Wolves’ offense exploded, and Caroline Stanton was tough to hit.
Buford went deep three times during the 5-inning contest and benefited from some clutch 2-out hitting throughout the lineup.
