COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – Columbus Parks and Recreation will host two Thanksgiving food drives this month to support local families in need.
The First Thanksgiving Food Drive
Multiple donations will be collected throughout the month at several recreation centers in Columbus, including:
- Comer Community Center | 107 41st Street
- Columbus Aquatic Center |1603 Midtown Drive
- Tillis Recreation Center | 2824 8th Street
- Northside Recreation Center | 2010 American Way
The Second Thanksgiving Food Drive
Donations will be accepted until Nov. 22. at the Frank Chester Senior Center located at 1441 Benning Drive.
Donation bins will be available at the listed centers during their normal hours of operation. Community members can donate non-perishable items like pasta, rice, peanut butter, canned vegetables, etc…
