Warm afternoons continue, Big cold snap coming

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – The next few afternoons will be warm before a pair of cold fronts changes things up late Sunday and the first few days of next week. A little rain is in the forecast late Friday into the weekend.

Sunny with perhaps a few high clouds especially south. After the 40s this morning, we’ll be near 70 degrees by the late morning hours. Highs climb into the upper 70s to even 80 degrees in the warmest spots.

Mainly clear. Quick to cool Thursday night. Lows early Friday will mostly be in the upper 40s and lower 50s.

Sunny to start Friday with increasing clouds as the afternoon progresses. A chance of rain moves in during the evening and especially the nighttime hours. There could be a thunderstorm or two. Lows early Saturday will be in the upper 50s and low 60s…
