Spotty showers on the way ahead of arctic blast

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – Some showers are in the forecast through Sunday morning before a big blast of cold air arrives early next week. A widespread frost and freeze is expected.

Patchy fog in spots Friday morning with temperatures in the mid 40s to low 50s. Otherwise, clouds will increase during the day. A chance of rain moves in after 1 or 2 PM. Rain coverage around 30 to 40%. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s.
