Turning Mostly Sunny Today, But COLD Temps & Wind Chills To Start The Week!

SUNDAY:After a foggy morning with a few light showers, we’ll see the sunshine return this afternoon as a cold front sweeps through the region. We’ll hace highs in the low to mid 70s across the area, all before temperatures start to fall this evening.

THIS WEEK:Monday morning is going to be quite chilly with temps well into the 30s, with some areas north of Columbus getting down to freezing, so some morning frost is possible. Monday is going to be chilly as afternoon highs struggle to get into the upper 40s to near 50. It’ll feel even colder though with wind chills in the mid to upper 30s. Then the cold really settles in Monday night into Tuesday morning with lows in the mid 20s, which would put us very close to record lows. The record low for November 11th for Columbus is 26. You’ll defintely want to cover any plants susceptible to the cold and cover any spigots or exposed pipes. After a cold start, we will start the warmup process, with afternoon highs getting into the mid 50s. Wednesday morning will still be quite chilly but not near as cold, with lows in the mid to upper 30s, so could see some frost again. Wednesday’s highs will warm close to 70°. Thursday, we continue with mostly sunny skies with afternoon highs approaching the mid 70s. Friday will look great too with lots of sunshine and afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

NEXT WEEKEND:Saturday is looking great with sunshine and afternoon highs again in the mid 70s. Sunday however, our next rainmaker arrives with another cool shot coming in behind it. Although, this shot of cool air doesn’t look as cold as the one to start this week…
