Temperatures Taking a Tumble

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – It’s a mostly cloudy start to the day with a few stray showers that could linger throughout the afternoon. However, we will start to see sunshine breaking through later, leaving us with a mostly sunny day. Windy conditions will also pick up, with gusts of up to 25 mph. High temperatures will nicely warm into the low to mid-70s, but we are in for some big changes overnight.

Tomorrow morning, we will wake up to lows in the low to mid-30s. As windy conditions will persist into the morning, we will be feeling even colder than the 30s. Feels like temps will be in the 20s for a lot of us. The afternoon won’t be much warmer as high temps will only top out in the upper 40s, even under sunny skies.

Tuesday morning lows will be even colder. A lot of areas across the Valley will plummet down to the 20s, giving us our first freeze, so you will want to make sure to bring your pets and plants inside. Tuesday afternoon will still be cold, but a touch warmer than Monday. Highs reach the low 50s, before another chilly start Wednesday with lows in the 30s…
