Short-lived cold snap

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – This extra cold spell for November standards won’t last long. It will warm up quite a bit from mid to late week. Dry weather stays with us through at least Saturday.

After mid and upper 20s Tuesday morning, it will crack 50 degrees during the afternoon. Highs will be in the low 50s. We’ll have lots of sunshine and winds will be lighter. This will be one of the coldest Veterans Days on record.

Clear and cold for one more night. Although most of us won’t dip into the 20s, we’ll be near freezing with lows in the low 30s early Wednesday. Some areas of frost are also possible. Sunny and warming up during the afternoon. It will be a bit breezy with highs in the mid to upper 60s…
