Big warm up starts now

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – The unusually strong cold snap for November standards is leaving us. Temperatures will be warmer than average late in the week and into most of next week. Any rain holds off for several more days.

After a freezing start Wednesday, that won’t last long. It will be sunny, a bit breezy and much warmer during the afternoon. Highs climb into the mid and upper 60s; some of the warmest spots south may approach 70 degrees.

Mostly clear and not as cold Wednesday night. Lows early Thursday will range from the upper 30s in the coldest spots with low to mid 40s in a lot of other places…
