OPELIKA, Ala. (WRBL) – Opelika Police have arrested a 61-year-old man on a first-degree rape charge stemming from an alleged sexual assault reported late last month.
Investigators say Pelle Alvin Jolanda Degucci was taken into custody Thursday on an outstanding warrant connected to an incident that reportedly occurred on October 24, 2025. According to police, the victim told detectives they had been at a bar the night of the assault, and the next thing they remember is waking up inside an unfamiliar home in the 1700 block of 4th Avenue.
