Columbus River Dragons honor cancer survivors with $10,000 donation

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – The Columbus River Dragons honored cancer survivors and healthcare professionals Saturday night at the Columbus Civic Center, presenting a $10,000 check to the John B Amos Cancer Center.

Cancer survivors, including WTVM’s Barbara Gauthier, along with Wanda Amos and Aisha French, dropped the ceremonial puck to start the game. The Dragons wore purple commemorative jerseys to honor cancer survivors.
