PHENIX CITY, Ala. (WRBL) — A Phenix City School Board member is being recognized as one of the state’s most outstanding board members.
Yolaunda Daniel was among five board members from across the state to be honored during the Alabama Association of School Board’s annual convention earlier this month.
Daniel, who has served on the Phenix City Board of Education since January 2021, is the board chair. AASB Executive Director Sally says of the 2025 All-State School Board Award recipients, “These leaders don’t just govern— they inspire change, elevate excellence, and build bridges between classrooms and communities across our state.”…
