COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – SafeHouse Ministries will open warming stations Sunday and Monday nights as the National Weather Service predicts low temperatures in the low 20s.
The organization will send vans to pick up anyone needing shelter starting at 3 p.m. both days. Pickup locations include Water Park, the 14th Street Bridge on both the Alabama and Georgia sides, and along 2nd Avenue.
Women and children will be taken to Grace House, while men will go to Freedom House…
