A former Columbus sports and news reporter was one of two people found dead in a Hoover, Alabama home Tuesday.
Christina Chambers was one of two adults found unresponsive at their residence in the 700 block of Highland Manor Court in Hoover, Alabama, according to AL.com and WBRC Fox 6 News.
The discovery was made by a family member around 9 a.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
A 3-year-old child was also located in the house, but was unharmed. Hoover Fire-Medics responded to the residence and pronounced a male and a female, later identified as Chambers, deceased from gunshot wounds.
“Although the investigation is in its early stages, it appears these deaths are the result of a murder/suicide and there is no threat to the public related to this case,” police said in a press release issued on social media…
