Columbus police are investigating a fatal pedestrian-involved crash.
The crash occurred around 10:15 P.M. on Friday, December 19, 2025, on Macon Road in front of the Muscogee County School District headquarters.
The crash involved a U-Haul which struck a pedestrian who had crossed against traffic in a dark area of the street, according to Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan.
