GDOT awards $1.3 million to road improvement projects in Chattahoochee County

ATLANTA (WRBL) — The Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) awarded a total of 22 projects valued at more than $72 million at the monthly State Transportation Board meeting in November, with $1.3 million being focused on road improvement projects in Chattahoochee County.

The proposal, which was awarded to qualified bidders on Dec. 5, includes plans to upgrade current pavement markings and to rehabilitate shoulder lanes on various county roads in Chattahoochee County.
