On Thursday, December 11, Chattahoochee Valley Community College (CVCC) hosted two pinning ceremonies to honor graduates of its Practical Nursing and Associate Degree Nursing programs. Rich in tradition and symbolism, the ceremonies marked a meaningful milestone as students prepared to enter the nursing profession.
Held in the IPAC auditorium, the events brought together family members, friends, faculty, and staff to celebrate the graduates’ accomplishments. Each ceremony opened with welcoming remarks from Health Sciences faculty, followed by the presentation of distinguished awards, including the Spirit of Nursing Award, Clinical Excellence Award, and the Florence Nightingale Award, recognizing students who exemplified compassion, skill, and dedication throughout their training.
