Front moving through: Expect temperatures to drop as the day goes on

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Good Monday morning! We’re tracking a cold front with a thin line of showers moving through the area right now, and it should clear out shortly after daybreak. Early risers may notice mild temperatures at first, but don’t get too used to them—readings will steadily fall as the day goes on.

By this afternoon, temperatures will drop into the 50s, and it’ll feel even cooler thanks to a strong northwest wind. Some gusts could top 20 mph.
