Columbus Police to increase DUI patrols going into New Year’s Eve

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — The Columbus Police Department has put extra officers on the streets in December to combat a seasonal rise in crime.

The additional officers have been involved in patrols in high-crime areas and in targeting thieves who steal packages off porches – among other things.
