PHENIX CITY, Ala. (WRBL) — Several schools across Lee County, Russell County and Phenix City were the lucky recipients of a giving back program by BEAM Broadband.
Officials with BEAM Broadband say a total of $20,760 was donated to 26 schools across the East Alabama region.
For every new customer who signed up for BEAM internet service during the BEAM Give Back Program, a donation was made directly to local schools within their service area. The internet service provider says the campaign was a simple way for customers to help support education just by choosing a local provider.
