BEAM Broadband puts community first with $20,760 donation to local schools

BEAM Broadband recently gave back to local schools through a back-to-school campaign focused on supporting education in the communities it serves. For every new customer who signed up for BEAM service during the campaign, $50 was donated to a local school of the customer’s choice within their service area.

The response from families across the area was strong. Thanks to community support throughout Lee County, Russell County, and Phenix City, the campaign raised a total of $20,760. In all, donations were awarded to 26 schools, helping support teachers, students, and school programs across the region.

The schools receiving donations include Beauregard Elementary, Beauregard High School, East Smiths Station Elementary, Sanford Middle School, Smiths Station Freshman Center, Smiths Station High School, Smiths Station Junior High, South Smiths Station Elementary, Wacoochee Elementary, West Smiths Station Elementary, Westview Elementary, Central High School, Lakewood Elementary, Lakewood Primary, Meadowlane Elementary, Phenix City Elementary, Phenix City Intermediate School, Ridgecrest Elementary, Sherwood Elementary, Glenwood School, The Rock Academy, Dixie Elementary, Ladonia Elementary, Mt.
