Phenix City police are investigating after shots were heard and a vehicle collided into a power pole.
The incident took place on Fourth Avenue near 20th Street around 2:15 p.m. eastern standard time on Sunday, January 4, 2026. CNAW2News crews spotted a black sedan, that appeared to have crashed into a power pole, being loaded onto a wrecker.
We are told by residents and viewers in the area shots were heard prior to the crash. It is believed the shots fired incident and the crash are connected…
