Helping people has always been in Brittini Clements’ career path. The Beulah High School Health Occupations teacher was awarded the Kinetic Credit Union Golden Apple Award. Clint Perkins, of Kinetic Credit Union, presented the award.
Clements graduated with a nursing degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing. After hearing about the Health Occupations position, she applied and has been teaching for the past five years. She feels this is even more rewarding than nursing. She prepares her students for their futures by helping with internships and other related opportunities.
Clements received several nominations for the Golden Apple. One nominator wrote, “She goes above and beyond for every student to make sure that they are ready and prepared to take on their future in the health field. She puts in the upmost time and effort and stays after school and arrives early and works hard to get her students internships and opportunities to grow in the health field far beyond high school.”…
