COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – Columbus police are asking an eyewitness to come forward again in the 2021 murder of Andrew O’Neal, even though investigators believe the suspected gunman may be dead.
O’Neal, 59, was shot and killed while walking on Winston Road near Harbison Drive around 6:15 p.m. on April 16, 2021.
“Mr. O’Neal was walking down Winston Road when he was approached by a suspect and gun downed,” said Sgt. Sherman Hayes with Columbus Police Department’s Violent Crime unit.
Eyewitness provided suspect’s name
