COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – The City of Columbus will present its official MLK “Dream Lives” celebration on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026.
The free public event will honor the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with two main activities. A Walk of Unity begins at 9 a.m. at the Judicial Center at 9th Street and 1st Avenue. The official “Sing the Dream: Live the Vision” program follows at 10 a.m. at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center.
The Dream Lives Choir will perform music from Dr. King’s movement era. The choir is celebrating its 10th anniversary, having been founded in 2016. Special celebrity guests will also participate in the program…
