On Tuesday morning, Donnie Thomas was sworn in as the Assistant Police Chief for the Phenix City Police Department, a position formerly held by new Police Chief Joseph Weierick.
The following employees were recognized for their years of service: Andrew Patterson – five years (Engineering), Xavier De Alba-Llamas – five years (Utilities), Joshua Carter – 20 years (Fire Department), Daniel Maddox – 10 years (Police Department), and James A. Langley – 30 years (Police Department).
