COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — The Columbus Airport Commission called a special meeting Thursday with only two public items on the agenda, including an open commission seat.
This special-called meeting came weeks after a contentious city council session, where council members raised concerns about the airport’s finances, governance, and transparency.
At the last city council meeting of 2025, Councilor Glenn Davis pressed Airport representatives “When I looked at the executive summary, it raised red flags. If that was my business, it tells me I’ve got a problem and I need to address, and I need to focus on.” Davis continued, “It’s evident to me that your expenditures are outpacing your revenue, meaning that your cash flow is going down.
