RUSSELL COUNTY, Ala. (WTVM) – Russell County Sheriff Heath Taylor announced Monday that a major narcotics investigation led to multiple arrests and the seizure of drugs, cash, weapons and a vehicle.
Taylor held a press conference at 11 a.m. ET at the sheriff’s office’s investigations building, detailing a joint operation between Russell County and Muscogee County authorities.
According to investigators, the Russell County SWAT Team executed a search warrant Friday at a home located at 807 Pine Hill Court in Phenix City. Inside, deputies arrested two brothers:
- Maurice Lucas Robinson, 34
- Jacob Alexander Robinson, 33
During the search, investigators seized 26 pounds of marijuana, $2,100 in cash, a stolen firearm registered in Columbus and a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu. Officials said they also recovered additional drug-related items in Columbus as part of the coordinated investigation…
