Alabama man accused of October Brookstone murder ordered to have mental evaluation

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — A Muscogee County Superior Court judge denied bond to the Alabama man accused in an October shotgun slaying of a Columbus man inside his Brookstone home.

An attorney for Antanavious Butler, 26, asked Judge Bobby Peters to set a bond for her client in the death of 65-year-old Norman Terry Lane.
