A Lee County man is in jail after making a fake video showing a murder.
Opelika Police were made aware of an online video in which a man claimed to have committed a murder on January 16, 2026.
Investigators worked throughout the day, including executing a search warrant at a home on Sawyer Drive, to locate the man.
