COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – A multi-month federal investigation resulted in the arrest of two men accused of running human and drug trafficking operations in Columbus.
Raul Reyes-Nepomuceno, 53, and Brandon Reyes-Escano, 23, were arrested Jan. 22 on human trafficking and drug trafficking charges following an investigation conducted with federal law enforcement partners including the Drug Enforcement Administration and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
After their arrest, search warrants were executed at two homes on Lacey Oak Court and Clay Drive. Police found evidence linking both residences to human trafficking and drug trafficking activity.
