Sherrie Aaron formally launched her campaign Tuesday for the Columbus City Council District 3 seat, citing persistent infrastructure gaps, public safety concerns and unequal access to opportunity across the district.
Aaron said that while Columbus continues to grow, too many District 3 neighborhoods are being left behind.
“When I walk our neighborhoods, I see flooded streets, broken sidewalks, dark streetlights, struggling small businesses, and seniors who don’t feel safe in the communities they helped build,” Aaron said. “I also see young people with talent who lack access to programs, jobs and opportunity.”…
