COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)-After a stretch of frigid air, the First Alert Forecast shows we’re on track for a welcome rebound in temperatures. Readings are expected to return closer to average, bringing a brief break from the cold as we move through midweek.
A fast-moving storm system will arrive mainly in the form of rain late Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning. The rainfall will be short-lived, moving in and out quickly, with minimal impact for most of the day on Wednesday.
While the system exits, cloud cover will linger through Thursday, keeping skies mostly overcast. Unfortunately, rainfall totals remain light, and the region continues to fall short of the precipitation needed to significantly ease ongoing drought conditions…
